A new sparkling cyder with a fresh apple aroma, kicked up a gear by the inclusion of new varieties. These modern fruits are selected to suit the modern palate: a less acidic cyder that delivers sweetness without losing its crisp apple bite. Light to medium bodied, mid- to pale straw coloured and bursting with refreshing flavour, it’s the quality of Aspall made for new cyder tastes.

500ml bottle. Very pale yellow gold colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of fleshy apple. Taste is tart, mellow apple, green apple, fruity, citric with alittle drying tannin. Light bodied, medium carbonation, dry clean finish. Quite OK.

Bottle from Tesco, Borehamwood. Pale yellow-green and clear. Has a good apple potency, with a slightly tangy, slightly active in the palate, similarly full apple taste. It has a mild sweetness and a smoothness in its texture.

Bottle from large pub chain who’s name escapes me. Appearance - very light almost water in colour but with a hint of hold. Nose - light fresh applea, even a hint of pear. Taste - slightly drier apples than nose. Palate - light to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - it was better than the bland ale they had on cask.

Bottle at home, 03/07/16. Pale yellow with a decent white head that soon dissipates. Nose is apple peel, straw, caramel, light floral notes, light wood. Taste comprises crisp apple, apple orchard, vanilla, light floral notes, hay. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok summer thirst quencher but a bit on the basic side.
