Reddish brown colour with thin head. Strong and quite sweet at first. Then some barrel notes. Cherry? Cough syrup. Clove.

2 February 2020. At Brugs Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke & Pieter! Presented as 'Angie', after the Rolling Stones song. Clear amber, thin, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of prune, plum jam, straw, lemon, gooseberry, sherry. Taste has sweet-sour plum, pear, gooseberry with bitter woody, funky, straw-like notes, Ends dryish, woody & funky, softly fuity with a strong alcohol presence (white wine-like). Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. I can appreciate these little experiments by Bourgogne.

This is drinkable... But still... What's up with the high abv? Too carbonated, almost champagne like. Bad alcoholic aftertaste.
