Canned. Ambery golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is zest, some spruce, caramel and mild herbal and grassy notes as well. Flavour is sweet malts, some fruity and floral notes along with a grassy and herbal bitterness in the finish. Pleasant, but quite much on the easy going side.

Can from Ales by mail, shared with the Mrs at home - dark amber pour with off white head. Sweet malty and fruity with notes of tangerine, citrus peel, overt sweet malty backbone, decent old school ipa.

Huge frothy head grew on a hazy, dark amber coloured body. Big bitter hoppy aroma with pithy citrus. Medium bodied, well carbonated - thick & cloying on the back. Taste is much as the aroma with bitter hoppy tastes of pith, rind, citrus with a slightly malty under body & long bitter, puckering finish.

Can. Hazy amber beer, very big cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Fluffy malts, sweetish with a trace of cream. Bouncy fruity caramel and toffee. Modest floral things. Marmalade and a little spice. Melon. Mild pine. Smooth finish brings mild bitterness and A trace of spice. First few mouthfuls, not sure, but it wins you over.

Can at home in Hackney - big thanks to Matteo. Pours hazy amber with a big, fluffy off-white head; it's a bit over carbonated. Piney hops in the nose, some orange peel, melon. Medium sweet sweet flavour with ample malty ballast, some oily pine, lots of melon and grapefruit, bread, hints of grass and rind. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation and oily texture. Warming finish, piney and resinous, with some gooey citrus, mango. Kind of fun. This is definitely a throw-back interpretation.
