A predominantly malty, lightly hopped beer giving a satisfying fullness of flavour with a warm finish. A glass or two is a must before seeking an audience with the monster!

Bottle 4.1%. Lovely clear mahogany brown colour with lasting head. It's a full flavoured malty bitter. Very sessionable. Just the right level of floral bitterness too.

0.5l bottle thanks to Lore. Clear bronze body with a white head. Aroma of toffee, roasted malts, nuts and toast. Taste of caramel, orange peel, roasted malts, raisins, toast and a bit of spicy hops. It also has some sourness to it too. Nice one.

Clear chestnut colpur, moderate sized creamy beige-ish off-white head which lasts for several minutes, aroma pf dried plum or plum jam, some raisins, toffee, rye bread and maybe nuts; taste of heavy roasted, almost burnt rye bread, dried plum, raisins, biscuits and over-roasted sunflower seeds; surprisingly enjoyable - based on its label I thought that it is just another riding the wave of nessie

Bottle, 4.1%, from my beloved students of c19 - thank you, Sweethearts and Hombres! Pours clear dark amber with stable beige head. Clear aroma of malt, with notes of fruit and caramel and touches of yeast. Bitter, hoppy onset, giving way to sweetish notes of malt and fruit and touches of yeast. Hints of peat, especially in the rather bitter (and mildly estery) aftertaste. Easy to drink and rather decent for the style.

0.5 l bottle from 'Bier & Beer', best before May 2018. Clear, deep reddish amber with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, quite herbal-grassy, slightly fruity-resiny and a bit floral aroma of caramel, raisins, tea leaves and orange jam. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, fruity, herbal-grassy and slightly resiny taste of caramel, tea leaves, orange jam and raisins, followed by a short, moderately bitter, herbal-grassy and slightly resiny finish. Almost medium-bodied, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant, classic Bitter, highly drinkable and very sessionable.
