33cl blik. Donkerbruine kleur, snel verdwenen kraag. Kaneel, marsepein, groene appel, appel, zoet, caramel, hout, booze, heftig, weinig gebalanceerd. Medium body, vrij dun eigenlijk. Na 3 jaar nog altijd scherp en matig.

Can 330ml. @ [ Petalax 🇫🇮 Virtual Tasting ] - fonefan & Brugmansia House. 🏡 💻👀
[ As Kees / Hair of the Dog Matt - Barrel Project 21.04 ].
ABV: 12.5%. Clear dark red brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, dried fruit toffee, sweet malt, spicy, alcohol - whisky. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light light bitter with a long duration, spicy - cake, toffee, alcohol - phenol, barrel - woody, unbalanced. Not real me ! Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20240423]

Can (from Alko web). Deep brown colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is dried fruits, mild spiciness, quite strong wooden tones with some slight caramel and a bit alcohol too. Flavour is wood, alcohol, some some spiciness with mild dried fruits to it. Not that complex, but lots of good elements to it. And leaves a bit thin as for the palate.

Appearance is very dark brown, a small beige foamy head which goes quickly. Aroma is woody earthy malt, bready malt, oak, mash tun, boozy barrel, fruitcake, brandy hints. Taste is coffee, earthy malt, booze-soaked fruitcake, cherries, marzipan hints, oaky malt, plum hints, smoky traces, boozy dark fruits. Treacle toffee. Oaky tannins and a bit of chocolate. Quite rich and intense, doesn’t quite all come together.

Can, 12.5%. Boozy aroma, spicy malts, malt syrup, brown sugar. Dark brown colour, seems hazy. Unstable light brown head. The flavour is boozy with acetone notes. Late milk chocolate. Citric finish. Low carbonation. Fairly sweet, but not too much. Citric acetone is not my favourite.

330ml can at Roberto’s Bar and Tasting Club. Poured a murky medium brown colour with a short-lived bubbly off-white head. The aroma is grainy malt, medicinal alcohol. The flavour is earthy, warm alcohol, floral, mineral, light warm boozy alcohol bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

33 cl can @ Rajasalmi. Rated on 29.05.2021. Aroma has alcohol and cocoa, feels intense - like a fine chocolate. Flavour has sharp alcohol, semi-dark chocolate, cocoa and menthol. Nice cocoa overload, a bit too boozy though. Somewhat far from the original Matt.
