This TIPA drinks like a big bowl of spiked fruit punch! Mosaic two ways and our house favourite, El Dorado hooked up with Columbus, bares heavily ripe fruits from the tropics. Picture a still life of papaya, passionfruit, custard apple, mango and cantaloupe with lashes of golden honey being drizzled all over it. Got it pictured? - now drink this.

Can from De Bierliefhebber. Sweet with a big tropical fruit aroma. Candied fruits, orange, malt, piney notes, marmalade. Very sweet with a moderate bitterness. Above medium body. Very typical sweet TIIPA.

Can, 10%. Hazy dark yellow/golden with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, hop, citrus, orange, ripe fruit and pine. Flavour is malt, fruit, citrus, orange, ripe fruit, sweet, pine, alcohol and medium bitter.

Can at home, 30th May 2021. Pours fairly clear and orange. Aroma is caramel fruits, pithy, sweet marmalade. Taste is sweet, candied fruit, marmalade, tropical fruit, a little sickly and over ripe and sweet. It’s not bad, but it’s too sweet QBR not balanced and dry enough to be great

44cl can. A murky orange beer with a beige head. Aroma of tropical fruits, ripe mango, yeast. Taste of ripe tropical fruits, mango, yeast, slightly boozy.

Rich mango colour beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth and slightly soft, decent fine carbonation. Soft rich pale malts, a rich creamy sweetness. Hops bring a rich ripe mango led tropical fruits goodness. Rich tropical fruits follow on, some modest melon and pineapple in there. Smooth soft pine. Rich ripe tropical fruits finish with good nibbly hop spice. Christ ona bike! This is a properly intense rich hop fruity affair. Lovely!

440ml can. Opaque orange brown (worryingly dark - but not oxidised), beige head. Aroma of very ripe tropical fruits, mango, papaya, melon. Taste is very sweet, ripe tropical fruits, mango, melon, papaya, slight pithy bitterness, strong and boozy. Full bodied, thick. Decent TIPA but far too sweet once again compared to what most other breweries are putting out these days.
