Pours dark brown with a light brown head. Aroma's: roasted, rye bread, piney hops. Retronasal it's roasty, piney. Flavour is bitter, sweetish. Medium bodied, light hopburn. Bitter finish, citrussy, zesty, roasted. I let this stand for quite a while on purpose, it seems to have done this beer good.

Nasty murky dark brown, unstable rough foam. Smell is OK, bit piney, some grapefruit. Pretty sharp carbonation, but otherwise decent mouthfeel. Taste is quite meh, the hop burn has died off, at least. Some pine, bit of roast, ends on an earthy bitterness.

Can. Cellared for about 1,5 months because there were a lot of people complaining about hop burn and even the brewer himself said he advised to cellar for a month of two. Black IPA based on West Coast IPA, acoording to the brewer. Color: Hazy, murky brown. Very light brown head. Looks like muddy ditch water after the head has gone. Aroma: Grassy and floral hop, dark malt, some caramel and roasted malt. Taste: Floral and grassy hop, over moderate bitterness, going to over medium bitterness and very dry mouthfeel at the finish. Still a little bit burning in the throat. Almost like chewing on pure hop pellets. Dark malt, some roasted malt, Bitter cocoa notes, Subtle citrus hop notes. Medium body, average carbonation. Long lasting finish. Not the usual Black IPA, this one has more prominent hopbitterness. As a West Coast IPA lover, I'm not complaining though. Pretty nice one, enjoyable.

Can. Murky brown with tan head, looks like mud. Dank citrus hops, lots of pine, lime, weedy hops, chocolate malts, sweet caramel, raw cocoa. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with strong and very unpleasant hop burn. There's a pretty nice beer behind the burn, but the rough finish makes this barely drinkeable.
