Pure lager, full of flavour. Only German malts, hops and yeast have been used and the fresh water comes from the characteristic Dutch dunes.

33cl bottle from Slijterij Saendyck in Zaandijk, Netherlands. Foam is big, off-white, good retention. Colour is gold, hazy. Aroma is malty, light floral, spicy, honey and bready touch. Taste is medium malty base, bready, bit grassy, decent bitterness, bit grainy, medium carbonation, ok yet nothing special.

0.33 l bottle from 't Biermenneke, best before May 2022. Slightly hazy, golden with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy-spicy aroma of grains, some honey and a touch of straw. Gently sweet, slightly malty, a bit grassy-spicy taste of grains, some honey and traces of straw, followed by a short, just slightly bitter, minimally grassy-spicy finish. Almost medium-bodied, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Well-brewed classic Helles, very true to the style, really pleasant.
