Bottle online from Beers Of Europe. Pours a clear copper/bronze colour with a medium sized throthy white head. Aromas of grains, hay and bread. Taste has sweet grains, hay and toasty bread with a hint of honey and caramel, and a faint touch of herbal and grass on an otherwise malty finish. Medium to full body, average carbonation and smooth oily mouthfeel. Very good.

500ml bottle. Clear, amber colour with huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Weak, rather expressionless, mellow malty and floral-grassy, hoppy aroma. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty, slightly floral-grassy hoppy, minimally mineral and metallic, a touch of toffee and butterscotch. Creamy texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Nice, harmonious, balanced and drinkable composition, weak aroma - OK.

Bottle, danke Günther! Deep golden to amber, fine carbonation, lowish offwhite head. Light juicy grainy aroma, light metallic grassy hops. Medium body, chewy body. Grains/malt on forefront, a bit caramel, hebal and grassy bittering hop notes An actual Marzen, and a quite allright one.

0.5 l bottle from 'EDEKA Preller' (Breckerfeld), best before June 2021. Clear, amber with a large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently malty and slightly floral aroma of caramel, honey and light sultanas. Gently sweet, malty, slightly floral taste of caramel, honey and some sultanas, followed by a short, slightly bitter finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant Lager, highly quaffable and inoffensive, also a little bland.

Gut! (1.1.2021.)

Bottle. Dark orange/copper sporting a nice white head. Aroma of malts, some honey and herbal hops Taste of malts, bread, tiny hints of lemons plus metal and honey lozenges. Spicy and herbal. Medium bitterness. Medium carbonation. Very süffig. I’ll gladly have another one or two.

€-Flascherl: Clear, deep golden to almost copper coloured, medium-sized stable and creamy off-white head, pronounced sweetish malty aroma, presumably traces of toasted malt underneath, mild and presumably herbal hops hardly detectable; moderate sweetish and mildly bitter flavour, medium bodied and pretty soft; lingering sweet toasty-malty finish with an increasing - but still mild - herbal bitterness in the aftertaste. A very malt-accented brew, but well drinkable...
