On keg at Six Degrees North, Edinburgh. Appearance - cloudy yellow. Lacy head. Nose - intense sour lime. Funky edge. Taste - more margarita notes. Palate - close to medium bodied with a sour tangy texture. Long dry tangy finish. Overall - lovely palate.

23 February 2019. (Tasting formerly known as) RBBWG. Cheers to all, thanks Kraddel for the hospitality! Clear pale yellow with a very thin, frothy, white head. Aroma of mandarin peel, leather, white pepper, young cheese, unripe apricot, grapes, white bread. Taste is light fruity sweet, notes of apple & mandarin, and light to medium funky sour with brett, sourdough, some leather & vinegar; light hoppy bitterness in the back offers balance (orange peel & white grapes). Dryish, tart, bit floral hoppy finish, lingering woody tannins, grapes, cheese & yeast. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Interesting hybrid, the Mandarina aspect works well but still very much a Saison.

23/02/2019 - 75 cl botte shared on BBGG @Kraddel's place Clear light yellow, no head. Nose is sharp lemon, wood. Taste is sour, fruit, lemon, light spice, lambic aspects.

Sample from bottle @ tasting formerly know as RBBWG 2019. F: medium, white, average retention. C: straw, light hazy. A: fruity, floral, hay, bit brett, woody and barnyard touch. T: light sour fruity, woody, floral, hay, basement, watery fresh lemon, bit more lambic than saison for me, medium body and carbonation, nice, enjoyed.

Clear pale yellowish blond beer, small creamy white head, unstable, dissipates quickly. Aroma: floral, funky, some oysters, spicy, cumin, bit fruity. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sour start, little metallic, soapy, lemony. Aftertaste: dry finish, sourish, some barnyard, funky, little floral, acidic.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Porter & Sons. Cloudy yellow. Funky, fruity hops, citric, tart, dry, some bitterness in the finish. Very nice.

Keg at HL3 (Winter), 30/11/18. Light haze on a golden orange pour with a decent off white covering. Nose is tangy citric rinds, melon, peach, apricot, dusty hay. Taste comprises mellow yeast esters, juicy hop splash, tangy citric zest, ripe melon, peach, gooseberry, grass, light vinous touch. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a light hop tickle. Solid flavoursome saison.

Draft at Billie’s Beer Festival ‘18. Hazy golden with a thin white head. Aroma of brett, barnyard funk, citrus. Flavour is light moderate sweet, bitter and moderate sour.
