Bottle courtesy of Munich Dave, cheers Dave, consumed at home Wednesday 29th September 2021, listening to Tom Ravenscroft on 6 Music, cooking Salmon, French Bean, Anchovies and Potato Traybake. Soft moutheel, smoke on the nose. In the mouth light caramel intermingled with smoke but a this is a really nice smokiness, tasty and very drinkable, really soft, a little liquorice. Lovely and my rating doesn't do it justice.
Roasted malt. Burned. Roast, grain. Not too intense, slightly neutral smoked. Malty smoked neutral finish. Interesting.
10-04-21 // RB-tasting. Taster. Very easy. More lagerlike with a mild to medium peatyness, roasted malt bitterness. Easy drinking.

Angenehm rauchiger Beginn, weich würzig, geringe Süße. Weicher, rauchig-malziger Abgang. 10/9/10/9/9/9
33cl bottle. A clear reddish brown beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of dark smoked and mild peated malt. Taste of mild peated malt, whiskey, red malt. Nice!

Bottle from Hausmann. Dark black with very little head. Light but smoky nose. Flavor is nicely mild roasted malty, with very light smoky campfire notes. Smooth and easy drinking Rauchbier, nice mouthfeel. Seems more like a Schwarzbier than Stout honestly.

330ml bottle. Clear, darkest brown colour with ruby shimmer and average, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Rather weak, mildly peaty, smoky, roasty dark malty and caramel malty aroma, a touch of leather, TCP, grainy, bready malty undertones. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty, mildly peaty and smoky, minimally roasty and dark chocolately, bready malty hints of dark rye bread, pumpernickel, subtle, treacle-like sweetness. Creamy texture, super soft, smooth palate, fine, soft to flat carbonation. Not overly Stout-ish, more bready than roasty malty, nice peaty smoky touch - OK.

Rittmayer Smoked Stout, Sonderedition zum 30-jährigen Jubiläum des Nürnberger Whiskyclubs 'The Most Venerable Order of the Highland Circle', Fläschchen von Ganicks Flaschbierschop. - Tiefdunkles Kastanienbraun. (5.2.2021.)
