Bottle. Cloudy golden amber. Dry apple juice and leather. Taste is wonderfully slow, sparkly, balanced. Starts with tart very fruity but not sweet apple, moves on slowly to a fluffy smooth cloud of late summer garden apples, and ends on a calm and earthy apple tone. Knows exactly what it wants to be, and executes it perfectly and without a hurry. Lovely.

30 year birthday Bottle. Golden, offwhite foam. Lovely flowery apple aroma. Cloudy golden, golden foam. Medium body, dry chewy, bitter apple skin, foamy mouthfeel, bright food apple flavor, well balanced.

2016 bottle. Slightly hazy amber color with foamy white head. Aroma is leather, tobacco, fresh red apple juice. Taste is leather, red apple flesh, earthy, super complex. Almost bone dry finish. Foamy mouthfeel with champenoise carbonation. Amazing, really up there with the best of the best!
