This beer is an easy-drinking IPA similar to Northeastern or East Coast styles in malt balance, haze and hop aromas. The juicy hop blend creates grapefruit, melon, strawberry and passion fruit aromas to give the beer a soft bitterness.

12 ounce can bought as part of a delivery from Beers of America, Banbury. Drunk at home. Light yellow gold and a little hazy with a large white head. Lemon zest, white grapefruit, some powdered lime candy on the nose. Sweet, some willowy malt notes with strong lime, grapefruit and a little bit of elderflower. Bitterness in the finish. Body holds up well enough, soft to medium carbonation. Decent.

Can from American Candy & Liquor, Birmingham. Hazy yellow with a white head. Would be quite a silky mouthfeel if it wasn't for the light, slightly prickly fizz. The lovely aroma of peach, orange, pineapple and pine is a little more muted on tasting, but still very enjoyable. A decent brew, and a new region to boot - yay!

Version 2 Super cloudy and hazy straw golden coloured body with a thick three centimetre tall off-white head that's soapy, fades quickly, but coats the 90 per cent opaque body nicely. Aroma of citrus fruits, grass, flowers, hay and a nice sweetness from fructose and caster sugar. Light-bodied; Crisp grassy and very citrusey flavours show at first with a nice smooth orange and grapefruit bite, with some smooth wheat and malt notes show shortly afterwards, with a little bit of sugars and a slightly dry bite, with candy noticeable, as well. Aftertaste is smooth in terms of malt, fruit and even hops, with all of them noticeable, just very 'juicy' and very easy-drinking, with a smooth wheat, orange juice and sweet bite all enjoyable with no bitterness at all, no alcohol notes and only a very small dash of dryness - very nice throughout! Overall, a very enjoyable beer with a great juicy profile that's completely 'new school' in a great way - still full of flavour, with no bitterness or pungency, but an easy-drinking hazy IPA that goes down without issue! Great to sample fresh from South Carolina - get it if it could be your local beer! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Lowe's Foods in Pawley's Island, South Carolina on 01-January-2022 for US$1,87, packed on 17-May-2021 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 19-January-2022.

Can (10/15/22) pour from Hop City, Krog Street. It's a cloudy dark yellow with nice sparkle, finger-width off-white foamy head with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma is bright citrus (mostly grapefruit and lemon but a bit on the detergent side) some overripe melon and background malt. Taste is lemon over grapefruit with late cracker and yeast. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, lively carbonation and crisp, dry finish as taste with late mild bitterness. Overall, not complex but decent strength. Over carbonated.
