Freshly dumped bourbon barrels are used to age maple syrup from B&E's Trees. We then get those little gems back and age one of our massive stouts in them. This time we've added something extra with a heavy dose of cold pressed coffee from our neighbors at Ruby Coffee in Nelsonville! Cheers!

Bottle shared, thanks! Black with a small tan head. Aroma of massive maple, coffee, bourbon, chocolate, vanilla and molasses. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle, 650 ml shared with Max, Miro B and Zec. Black with beige head. Chocolate, maple, cocoa, coffee, barrel, sweet with dry finish. Smooth. Warming. Soft texture. Medium to full bodied. Liked the Butter Pecan version better but this on has very nice combo of smoothness and complexity. .

Bottle from Beerlovers Bar. Pours black, medium sized, slightly tanned head. Scent is full, intense coffee, almost smokey by the coffee. Mild maple and bourbon. Thick. Taste is full, creamy, sweet, full on maple goodness, but still very balanced. Enough of a bitter back to support the beer, without actually being bitter. Medium carbo, full body. Perfectly balanced. Another homerun by this underappreciated brewery !

65 cl bottle @ Kultainen Apina. Aroma has chlorine and licorice. Flavour has sweet sugary tones, coffee, vanilla. Sweet in a different way than the other version. Drinkability is not that great.

Dark brown pour with a fine-grained tan head that gives way to a thin lacing. Coffee, sweet maple, burnt caramel, espresso, roasted malts, nuts, oak, more maple. Smooth texture, a decent attempt at balancing the sweetness with the roast, a nice bitter-sweet finish, more sweet than bitter. Good stuff.
