Can from Aldi, Coleshill. Pours a clear gold, small white head, leaves some retention on top. Aroma of sweet malts, corn, grass, lemon. Standard. Taste is very sweet light malts, tangy citrus, light vegetal and grain, grassy bitter finish. Light bodied but with a smoothness and moderate but zingy carbonation. I actually enjoyed this, simple, sweet, slight citrus tang, with a punchy crisp grassy bitterness.

Can from local Aldi. Pours a pale straw with a fair-sized frothy white head. There’s a slight lemon fruitiness in the aroma, and this continues as the main flavour in the mouth. Textures is very watery, and the carbonation is low. There’s some evidence of grains in the flavour, but otherwise little to suggest you aren’t drinking fizzy lemonade ! Dire.

Can from Aldi. A pale yellow coloured pour with a fading whote fizz. Aroma is light grains, corn, semi crisp, light, light apple. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, corm, sweetcorn, apple, basic stuff. Palate is light crisp, highish carbonation. Pretty clean, not that offensive.

Can from Aldi Supermarket, Milnrow. Blonde with a small head and a carbonation. Has a very light lager character, somewhat smooth in texture. Not very exciting but palatable.

[44cl can from my local Aldi] A straw coloured pour with a fast fading white head; light grassy aroma; sweetish grassy taste with a touch of honey; and a light herbal bitterness. Not bad.

440ml can. Pours pale gold with a small head. Aroma is sweet, crisp, lemon, straw and corn. Taste has straw to start with sweet corn on the finish. Not bad for what it is.

440ml can from my local Aldi store: BBE Feb 2022. Drank at home on 19th Mar 2021. Clear light golden body, full white crown that soon settled down to a wisp and collar. Not a lot going on aroma or taste wise really. Not a great beer, even at the low price.
