Jæren Ølfestival 2021. Black color with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, nuts, caramel. Flavor is roasted malt, smoked, coffee, chocolate, nuts, caramel, bonfire, licorice. Nice beer.

Can. A dark brown, unclear beer with a small beige head. The aroma has roasted malts, nuts, caramel, some dark chocolate, hints of bonfire and a hint of licorice. It’s quite dry on the palate, medium to full-bodied, with flavors of roasted malts. Coffee, hints of licorice and bonfire. Lasting finish. Easy drinkable indeed. A bit ordinary though. 210813

Tap. Nitro pour. At Lawson’s. Nearly black. Dense and creamy, fully lacing, dark beige head. Nose has savoury smoke. Some wood smoke. Fruit and nut chocolate. Taste is sweet and chocolatey. Some dryness. Super smooth and creamy mouthfeel. A tart and vinous bitterness comes through at the end. Really nice.
