Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, small head. Aroma is nutty, some marshmallows, some almonds, vanilla alcohol and wooden tones. Flavour is wooden tones, some almonds, alcohol, nutty, some vanilla and mild alcohol tones. Somewhat sharp alcohol. Finish does have some almost peaty tones before the sweetness kicks in. Silky smooth palate.

Tan brown rim over jet-black beer. Very sweet nose with alcohol, some fusels, vanilla and a faint marzipan aroma grasping your breath. The same in the taste - but with a difference. The taste is layered, much more complex, and the finish has a deep, almost burning mix of roast, Xmas cake, Drents' figbread, orangerind, Bourbon, maraschino cherry. Very thick, almost syrupy liqueur with almonds, and the aftertaste is almost cognac-like. Rich, voluptuous, warming; not very carbonated. Impressive beer.

Bomber shared by Chris & Kelly at the February 2023 PS tasting, 2/11/23. Black, thin tan head, good retention. Aroma of molasses, clay, chocolate, almond. Taste is chocolate, roast, almond, cherry, whiskey, raisin. Mild booze.

Panda thanks to Cloin: Poured a deep black with a brown head. Aroma is boozy, bourbon, roasted malts, cocoa, nutty, vanilla. Taste is boozy, bourbon, roasted malts, nutty, almonds, toffee, cocoa.
