440 ml can, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 7.2%. Black colour, moderate tan head. Moderate aroma of roast malts and mild coffee, a hint of dark chocolate. Smooth and pleasant flavour with the same elements, medium dry, hints of dark rye bread, moderate bittering hops.

Panda thanks to Cloin: Poured a deep brown to black with a beige colored head. Aroma is ashy, roasted malts, chocolate. charr. Taste is rich roasted malts, boozy, licorice, smoke, charr, underlying bitter fruirs.

Can at home, from Yards & Crafts online, 01/01/22. Light black with a good sized lasting khaki head. Nose is mellow roast, dark malts, liquorice, spice, charr, ashen notes, cocoa powder, dates, toffee. Taste comprises fruit cake mix, figs, dark chocolate shavings, light booze, toffee, dark malts, mellow roast, spice. Medium bodied with a little bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid flavoursome Bal-Tick.

Can sourced from Kihoskh and drunk at home (04/04/2021) - pours dark brown verging black with a nice tan head. Toasted and light roasted malty with notes of cocoa, caramel, edge of semi burnt toasted bready malts, glimmer of hoppy undertones, some dried fruit shred surfacing, nutty accents, brown sugar, satisfying lingering malty finish. Lovely.

Dark brown with a solid tan head. Aroma of coffee chocolate malt. Flavour is sweet malt, powdered chocolate , bitter dry smoked base. Long sweet roast finish.
