We have an amazing water source for stouts, and in the past year we have created some amazing pastry stouts. We love pastry stouts, as the huge grain bill and lactose addition allow us to create a base for carrying richer and more interesting flavours, adding layers of complexity to an already intricate beer. This second iteration of our pastry stout combines decadent milk chocolate with the delicate flavours of coconut.

Can from HOTM. Pours a near black with thin tanned head. Aroma of a bounty chocolate bar, lovely creamy coconut coming through. Taste is the same with a roasted malt notable in the background. I'm a big fan of coconut so this is adjunct heaven. Body a little light on the mouthfeel though.

Panda thanks to Cloin: Poured a dark amber brown with a tan colored head. Aroma is super coconut, spicy, sugary. Taste is coconut, spicy, some heat, chocolate, cinnamon.

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to Colin. A clear nutty mahgoany brown coloured pour with a small beige head. Aroma is tonka, cinnamon, brown sugars, oily coconut, Flavour is composed of semi sweet, oily coconut, brown sugars, palm sugars, oily. Palate is semi sweet, oily, moderate carbonation. apple. flapjack. nice.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 02/04/22. Black with a good sized khaki covering that veers edgewards. Nose is big on coconut shavings, chocolate, nutty tones, mellow roast, sugar dusting. Taste comprises Bounty Bar, coconut shreds, milk chocolate, dark malts, spice, nutty, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid pastry kit ... surprised this scores just a 3.4 ... brings out the coconut and chocolate flavours well with out being overbearingly sweet ... what more do you want for the stated objective of a beer folks ???

Frothy off-white good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Strong coconut notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Coconut dominating. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.
