This particular ice cream ale is a very seasonal, one day only celebration beer, first by Ronald and his buddies at the big M for our national holiday.Expect aromatic mint on the nose, followed by a cool lingering peppermint flavour, and a creamy soft milkshakes body.

330ml can from Beer52. Green pour, with small green tinged head. Aroma is mint, vanilla, lemonade, cream. Taste is the same. Mild bitterness. Barely a beer in truth, nice though.

330ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, May 21. Pours mity green. Big mint aero vibes going on, gently creamy. Novelty beer of course, but fine overall.

17th May 2021 Shrewsbury Beer Share in Chez Sophie; four of us splitting 14 beers and eating snacks. A fun evening, although the Polish Strawberry flavoured 'Flips' didn't go down too well. First beer up was this, a 330ml can: BB 7th Feb 2022, brought by me, via Beer52. It's green and so is it's pale head. Spearmint like aroma and taste, one of us mentioned 'a Mint Aero' and that seemed to get a nod from us all. Different and not unpleasant, but glad I shared it!

Can from HavnensVin&Tobak. Pours bright cucumber green with medium white head. Aroma is synthetic with mint, vanilla, fudge, milk shake and bubble gum. Taste is light sweet, light bitter and faint acidic. Body is creamy with fizzy carbonation. Finish is long and very minty with notes of vanilla, (ice) cream, fudge .... and even more mint. Very smooth, very minty, very green and very strange - but fun. It is almost disgustingly synthetic, yet smooth and kind of well balanced. I don't really know if I hate or love it, but I tend towards the latter. I definitely respect the effort to making something original, different and fun. (Note: I have never had a Shamrock Shake, so I don't know if this beer resembles such a thing)

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 21/03/21. Pure spearmint green with a decent white head that retains well. Nose is mint, toffee mint boiled sweets, sugars, Taste comprises spearmint chews, Murray Mints, creamy notes, sweet edge, herb, minted notes, cane sugar. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Does what it says on the tin rather well but file under 'small dose' drinking for this Bois !

24/3/2021. Can sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers. Pours clear shamrock green with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of trebor peppermint softmints crossed with werthers original butter candies. Medium plus sweetness, some bitterness develops. Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation. Quite likeable.
