We've teamed up with the good people at Yonder Brewing for this fresh take on a classic style, where a gentle addition of zest accentuates the unmistakable orangey notes of amarillo hops. Our full-bodied Märzen glows a rich amber colour and finishes clean and dry.

440ml can from the brewery. Poured a clear golden colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is toffee malt. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a smooth, rich, toffee caramel, bready, cereal, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A rather simple beer.

Can from Gedeelde Vreugde. Clear orange, thin, white head. Aroma of honey, biscuit, pear, melon, orange peel. Taste has sweet orange, melon & apple; honeyish malts, bit bready. Dryish, yeasty, softly grassy hoppy finish, faint sourish zesty accent. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Zest works well here, nice.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Siren online. Pours clear honey-gold with a small, creamy white topping. Light-medium sweet flavour with notes of sun-kissed biscuits, straw, mild citrus accents, pale bread. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Decent balance to finish, more pale biscuits, hay, nips of citrus rind. Drinks pretty good.

Can in the garden, 19th September 2021. Pours a clear golden, big white head. Aroma is yeast, citrus and caramel. Taste is fresh, zesty, refreshing, orange, clean, yeast, pith, good beer.

Can at home picked up from Siren online. A crystal clear mid gold/ pale orange coloured pour with a lasting off white fizz. Aroma is big fresh grassy hop, spicy hop, sileage, nutty cerals, rye bread, Flavour is composed of semi sweet, spicy rye bread, cereal, big spicy grassy hop. Assertive grassy hop bitterness, little metalic in the finish. Palate is semi sweet, semi crisp, moderate fine carbonation. Decent.

Can from the brewery online shop. Pours clear golden orange with a short-lived thin white head. Aromas of orange peel and light caramel. Taste has some honeyed sweetness, more orange and faint spice. Clean finish.

Can from HOTM. Light hazed golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are malty and light pithy orange. Light sweet taste. Medium crisp body.

Large rocky off white head stayed on an unclear pale amber body. Minimal fruity & light malt aroma. Medium bodied, pith with a lively cloying back. Malt, caramel, woody, berries & jam tastes with a sweet malty finish. Tasty.
