Oat Pale Ale brewed with Yuzu.

The oats in the beer give it a deep softness. The Yuzu's flavours is tart and fragrant like a grapefruit with over tones of mandarin orange.

Sunny Y is best with asian flavours of chilli, lemon grass & coconut milk.

This beer has been dry hopped with American Sultana which is a monster of a hop plant; Gigantic Cones & a high total oil to boot. With Pineapple pine and bright citrus notes.

Perfect for a sunny day.

Sunny D contains practically no fruit juice, so this Sunny Y is just as good an alternative given its hops also provide plenty of citrus fruit flavours and aromas without any direct influence off the tree! Lemon and grapefruit mainly, it's pale clear golden in colour, this pour is mildly stewed in taste.

Monday 25th September 2023, Shrewsbury Gathering in Chez Sophie, 5 blokes and loads of beer. Cheers Mat for the 330ml can of this: BB 31st December 2024. Mark's wife supplied the Lemon Meringue Pie to go with this. The beer was a misty pale golden colour with a white head. It's a gentle beer with a citrusy flow from the Yuzu's, all a bit subtle compared to the Pie!

330ml can from the brewer's stand at Frome Agricultural & Cheese Show 2023. Shared @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Sep 23, paired with a great lemon meringue pie made by Mark's wife! Misty yellow appearance, white head. Gentle lemon citrus aroma. Mild yuzu presence to taste, expected more oat body but a pleasant pale overall.
