Bottle from a local supermarket. Mild and citrussy aroma with soft pale malt. Tangerine, notes of stone fruits. Modest bittersweetish taste, body is medium. Mild and a bit boring like most recent 't IJ beers.

Flesje gedronken in Voorhout. Geel oranje-achtig bier met weinig schuim dat snel weg trekt. Aroma van hop en licht fruitig. Smaak is waterig en zacht fruitig. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

0.33 l bottle from 'Albert Heijn' (Oostburg), best before June 2022. Clear, pale amber witz a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity, a little resiny aroma of grapefruit, tangerine and light pine. Slightly sweet, gently bitter, moderately fruity and a bit resiny taste if grapefruit, pine and some tangerine with a touch of grains, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly resiny, minimally tart finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent IPA, somewhat old school, a little restrained though.

16/VIII/21 - 33cl bottle @ the Abeels’ place, BB: VI/2022, 199 03802 (2021-832) Thanks to Abeel for sharing the bottle!

Clear pale blond to orange beer, big creamy to aery off-white head, unstable, falls down quickly, bit adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, bit grassy. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very malty, soft acidity, some citrus, little lemony, rather watery. Aftertaste: grassy, bit lemony, some citrus, soft bitterness, bit sweet. Not good at all, where’s the tangerines? Needs much more fruit character.. Only 2 months old, so it can’t be the age?

Bottle from local AH supermarket. Color: Clear golden, frothy white head. Aroma: Remarkable malty for an IPA. Also some hop. I don't recognize any tangerine in the aroma. Yaste: Also very malty for an IPA. Combined with some citrus hop and hints of tangerine. Hint for the brewery: Try Stone Tangerine Express IPA for a good example of fruity tangerine IPA. No need to try this one evermore.

Verder redelijk dun, beetje afwaswaterachtig. Tikkie ijzer ook.

@home poured into a shaker. Clear medium golden colour, fair moussy white head, slowly disappearing, some lacing. Aroma pale malt, fresh and canned tangerine, grassy hops. Mild fruity taste, medium sweet and bitter, malty, grapefruit, orange peel. Light to medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, short fruity sweetbitter taste, light peppery on the tongue, easy to drink, decent.
