330 ml botte as "Schlägl Bio Roggen" from a wholefood shop, bb 02.06.16.
Golden, clear body, with a medium, dissipating, frothy, off-white head.
Aroma of grains, rye, bread, flowers, some honey, some fruits.
Tastes of grains, grass, herbs, flowers, some spices, some biscuit, some rye, slight citric fruits.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes medium bitter, quite dry, grassy, herbal, floral, a bit spicy.

OK, but I was expecting a bit more. Tastes quite boring, with the rye just in the backgroung. Not the most distinctive Roggenbier and there are better beers by this brewery in my opinion.

Bottle pour at Malt and Vine. Pours a really cloudy golden color with a unique, orange juice like aroma. Fruity. Flavor is orange fruit flavors with some bread, rye and a little banana. Interesting beer here. Liked it, and glad I tried it. Decent beer.

Bottle from trade with Geiserich. Label says Bio Roggen. Clear golden color with small white head. Fruity, malty aroma. Sweet malty, fruity taste with honey, rye(?), bitter hops. Light hoppy bitterness in fruity finish.

Initial aroma of rye bread, then sour nose and taste. A different taste than what is expected. Musty, barnyard, sour. Meh!

Nearly clear gold with a short, light tan head. Rye malt, aroma...wheat. Taste is malty, grain, straw, rye. A little yeast....slightly sweet. Pretty good.

Bottle. I suspect this might be a little old, but it seems to be OK. Well carbonated. Hazy gold color like a wheat beer, and a lacing white head. A good looking beer. I smell wheat more than I do rye, but the rye is there in the flavor, which also has some sweet malt. Very low hops. A little different, good for a change.

Pour is a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is a bit sweetness and spicy rye. Flavor is a sweet malt with some earthy toffee, the rye kinda goes away in the flavor but this has just enough malt flavor to put this is the good category.

Herber, weich getreidiger Beginn. Geringe Süße, das Getreide wird dunkler und trocken,d as Bier laff, es ist zudem wenig harmonisch. Noch ok. 6/8/8/7/8/7
