It was about time we brewed another big IPA & it's explosive! BLITZ FIX is a hazy Triple IPA, velvety & lush!
A ripe tropical fruit salad kicks in as soon as you open it: tangerine, mango, papaya, peach & pineapple notes are all present from the dry-hop with 5 powerful aromatic hop varieties! The beer is both dry & sticky, but watch out... it's 9.9%!

Hazy pale yellow colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour are packed with juicy fruits. Nectarine and mango with some pithy citrus bitterness too.

Can from Geers. Hazy ochre, small, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of ripe peach, yellow nectarine, pineapple, tangelo, rambutan, melon, honey, lime juice. Taste has sweet peach, melon & rambutan, bit zesty lime against a honey malty backbone; bitter stonefruit leading the way to a floral hoppy finish that is somewhat spicy, with lingering ripe & almost dank fruit, bitter citrus, and heating gin-like alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Expressive DIPA, still quite refreshing.

26/V/21 - 44cl can from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: 17/XII (no year, so I guess 2021) (2021-430)

Surprisingly clear and pale orange to deep yellow beer, small creamy irregular off-white head, unstable, falls down quickly, bit adhesive. Aroma: fruity, mango and passion fruits, more tropical fruits, pretty dank, bit cheesy, hint of DMS (some broccoli), sugary impression. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet start, bit sugary, lots of alcohol, tropical fruits, mango, passion fruits, pretty acidic touch, guava, persimmon. Aftertaste: dank hops, bit sugary, tropical fruits, resinous hops, juicy, bit zesty, more alcohol, nice one, but I prefer session IPAs over Double or Triple IPAs, as the hop characteristics are usually more bright and present in lower ABV beers.

44cl can, BB 05/01/2022 de night shop local.
