An Imperial Milk Stout We Made With Coffee has to be our longest beer name ever. It's also a new collaborative effort with Cloudwater Brew Co. (some of you may recall the former A Stout We Made...) and our first ever milk stout! The coffee in question is our ol' standby Sam James Butter Knife Espresso -- 'a rich, sticky sweet, low acidity coffee. So expect lots of smooooth body.

Dark brown with a thin head. Lots of coffee. Rich dark sugars, toffee, decent bitterness. An imperial milk stout that I like, and there's coffee in it, and that works, too. I'm in.

473mL can, pours black with a medium dark brown head. Nose is loaded with dark roasted coffee, a bit of lactose, and earthy bready malt. Flavour is sweet and roasty, with lots of lactose, plenty of roasted malt, and lots of earthy coffee. Balanced and bold. Not the most complex stout but it's strong and balanced. Very good.

Poured from 473mL can. Black with tan head. Aroma has lots of coffee roast. Taste of low acid coffee, light chocolate, and hints of green pepper. It's quite nice, but the green pepper notes bring it down slightly.
