Solsletta 311221. Golden color with a white head. Aroma is banana, pine, citrus, tropical fruit. Flavor is banana, pine. citrus, tropical fruits, hop, lactose. Weird beer.

Bottle. I must admit the only reason I bought this bottle was because it was in the final of Norske Måltid. Too many bad experiences with Mack Mikro has made me stay away for a long time. This one's more or less clear in the glass, golden in color, and topped by a decent white head. The aroma is quite citrusy and tropical, with a banana addition that luckily don't take control. Some lactose notes in the far back. It's medium bodied and rather heavily carbonated, lactose-smooth and quite sweet too, but not sticky. Tropical fruit, pineapple and banana mostly, citrus zest and some lactose in the flavor. Some piney and grassy hints in the back, along with a light touch of pale malts. Medium length finish. It could use some more body and alcohol this one, and it doesn't feel too milkshaky, but it's sure one of the most interesting and drinkable beer I've had from Mack in a long time. 211231

Amber, cloudy with a short lived white head. Aroma of banana, citrus and malt sense. Light bitter with a mild banana, citrus and more fruity ending. Low carbonation, medium body.

500 ml bottle, from Bunnpris Sauda. ABV is 4.7%, IBU 33. Golden colour, large to moderate white head. Strong aroma of banana purée. Flavour of citrus and banana, not too sweet, moderate bitterness. Not too bad overall.

0,5 flaske innkjøpt under sterk tvil hos Fristeren, hjemme: nesten helt klar gylden med ok skum. Aroma og smak som minner om barndommens Banos smørepålegg, pluss lactose, lys malt og hint av humle. Hvis dette er laget for å få barn til å drikke øl applauderer jeg et prisverdig tiltak. Det smaker som brus med banansmak, så for oss godt voksne er det helt miserabelt. Hainn streike kor æ græmmes.

500ml bottle bought at Kjeller 5. Spotty lacing from a slowly diminishing white head, cloudy golden body. Moderate ripe banana nose, added by wheat. Okay taste of banana sweetness joined by a citric note on a backbone of lactose. Mid-sweet fruity ending. Passable, one-off, I guess. (Tromsø 24.04.2021).
