50cl of 66cl Fles van De Laat. Troebel oranje kleur, gebroken-witte kraag. Zoet, caramel, hars, citrus, grapefruit, sinaasappelmarmelade, volle bak oldskool DIPA zoals het heurt. Glad, volle body. Lekker, meer meer meer van dit aub.

Bottle picked up from Beer Republic, nr Breda, Netherlands. Consumed at home Wednesday 6th January 2021 listening to Patrice Baumel and shortly to start cooking seafood pie. Pours murky amber with a white head. Fruity but actually more resinous pine action here and whilst it possesses a big beefy malty backbone it's actually also with a dry finish. Nice soft mouthfeel, quite thick in the mouth, some pithiness also. Nice beer.

500ml bottle. Hazy, orangey, dark golden to amber colour with average to huge, fluffy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white head. Tropical fruity, citrusy and slightly piney, resinous, hoppy aroma, caramel malty background, notes of passion fruit and pineapple, some grass, pine, spruce, and grapefruit, a touch of marmalade. Taste is crisp, bitter, citrusy, piney and tropical fruity hoppy, notes of grapefruit, some lemon, pineapple, marmalade, slightly sweet, caramel malty backbone. Oily texture, smooth and soft, slightly foamy palate, fine, minimally fizzy, alleviating carbonation. Pretty much West Coast style with a slight New England touch. Good!

500 ml bottle. Cool label. Pours a clear orange hue with a large white head. A light lemon and toast nose. Oranges, marmalade, certainly lots of lemon bitterness, a sort of smoother almost watermelon flavor. I can't disagree totally with Matt, not the best W Coast IPA. I still liked it.

On tap at The Beer Junction, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is full of candied sugar, resinous hops, and caramel malt. Flavour is chaotic and jagged, with clashing flavours galore - bitter resinous hops, candied sugar, and bready malt. Atrociously integrated. Poor.
