Das IGA ist ein neuer Bierstil, der in Italien entstanden ist und die Bier- mit der Weinwelt verbindet. Es werden dabei 40% an Gewürztraminertrauben gemeinsam mit dem Bier vergoren, die diesem dann fruchtige, weinartige und leicht säuerliche Noten verleihen. Durch die Nachgärung in der Flasche wird mit Hilfe einer Sekthefe, dem Bier eine feine Kohlensäure verliehen.

Intensiver, trocken säuerlicher Beginn mit leicht unterdurchschnittlicher Karbonisierung. Würzig-herb, viel helle Trauben, intensiv. Langer würziger Ausklang. 10/9/11/11//11

Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Clear yellow. Funky, vinous, grapes, sourish, oak, lively carbonation.

Munich Ratebeer Group Tasting at Jonas, Garching Friday 22nd October 2021. Pours hazy silvery gold with a white head. Nice aroma with a clear grapey nose, quite a tang and tart edge, fruity but soft.

Cloudy yellow. Aroma is floral slight lacto sour fruit. Light funk. Some berries. Taste is fresh sour fruity. Very acidic and a little low on hops. Fresh nice. Good.

Bottle from Meran. Slightly flooded the table when we opened it despite being cold. Hazy yellow, big foamy head. Sour nose, fat stone fruit aroma. High champagne-like carb, the grape flavor comes through, I really like this one. Very smooth sourness and lots of fruit. Best sour I've had so far from Italy, I think.

Bottle. Cloudy pale yellow, lowish head. Funky perfumed soapy aroma. Medium body, chewy, dry funky, pet nat feelings, citric, grape, fun.

Bottle. Hazy yellow color with white bead. Aroma is wheat, yoghurt, white grapes, nice character, a bit earthy. Taste is the same, a bit fizzy carbonation, mineraly bite. Not bad!
