This variant of our multi-award winning ‘Very Big Moose’ is infused with coconut. The smooth, velvety mouthfeel and cacao and vanilla flavours blend really well with the coconut to give a luxurious, tropical Moose experience.

Black colour. Vanilla aroma, and chocolate. Lean body, dark chocolate, vanilla, but it's not sweet enough, and the finish is almost astringent; given that, a bit of green peppers easily pops up, light earth touch too. Not great.

440ml shared with Ryan @ Alex's. Batch 15.1. Appearance: dark brown a dark tan head. Aroma: very sweet, fudge, chocalte, coconut. Taste: quite sweet, lacks body, artificial, fruity candies. Overall: weird and artificial.

Poured from 440mL can (small batch 15.1 edition). Black with light tan head. Coconut aroma. Taste is lacklustre - muted coconut and chocolate, alcohol fairly hidden. Looks and smells decent, but taste is disappointing.

440mL can, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out gentle coconut, medium-heavy roasted malt, molasses, and some gentle burnt notes. Flavour is loaded with coconut upfront, followed by lots of dark cocoa, some iodine, and medium roast. The flavours are nice, but not all that integrated or complex. The palate is on the thin side and the flavours drop off big time on the finish. Tasty enough, but actually fairly disappointing in its lack of integration or complexity for such a big beer.

Medium brown. Just a thin head. Aroma is mellow - a little bit of coconut, a little bit of roast. Fairly light body - I'm definitely missing the rich sugars, especially because it's a coconut beer and coconut fucking loves sugars. This just comes across thin, and the coconut pulls up short. Not awful, but really misses the mark for this type of beer. Not looking for a lightish-tasting beer that doesn't play to its strengths, but will still hit me with 12%.

440 ml can. Pours black with moderate tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, dried coconut, vanilla, and roasted malts. Flavors of dark chocolate, unami/soy, dried coconut, vanilla, and roasted malts. Dry for a pastry stout. Very enjoyable.

Dark licorice black body and minimal foam. Lots of syrupy sweet coconut and chocolate, alcohol well hidden. Taste is heavy chewy coconut, dark chocolate, bitter vanilla. Ends smooth and dry. Well done for the high alcohol.
