1/3 pour at Duke’s Corner pours a clear dark gold with some sudsy white head. Nose has malt, grass, lemon, light dried potpurri. Flavor is fine, orange, mild honey, a little malt, a little mild pepper. Finishes dry.

Bottle from Offie & Toffee. It pours clear amber with a medium white head. The aroma is bread, toasted, grain, mild sweetness and biscuit. The taste is crisp, clean, bitter - sweet, lemon peel, pepper, cracker, straw and not much else. The finish is mellow and dry. Light body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Not a huge amount to it, but not bad either. Went well with an accompanying whisky...

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Hazy amber body with a thick off-white head that holds. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of paper, rice cake and a hint of orange pith. Flavour of cracker, grass and peppery hops. Thin to medium body with a smooth texture. Light fizz. An impressive beer considering it’s gluten free and 3.5% ABV.

33cl bottle from Beer52.com. A lively golden amber pour with a billowing white head; spicy aroma; rather thin with a sweet caramel malt taste; and a smooth caramel finish with a touch of spice and citrus, and a lingering bitterness.

Keg at Holyrood 9a, Edinburgh, Friday 18th March 2016 in the company of Dad, Barry, Craig, Stella, Jan and Charlotte. Golden in colour with a fruity and light caramel nose. A little fruity in the mouth but also a touch thin, not an awful lot going on here, it’s ok. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0
