First up, this one is gluten free, so a real treat for any celiacs out there. Amber in colour with a creamy head and a malty tangerine aroma. Strong malt flavours with nicely balanced bitterness, some slight floral and citrusy notes.

On keg at the Black Isle Bar, Inverness. Appearance - golden amber with a nice fluffy head. Nose - fresh sweat and grapefruit. Taste - more of the same really. A bit green stalky too. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - decent session ipa.

Bottle from Offie & Toffee. It pours clear amber with a medium white head. The aroma is bread, toasted, grain, mild sweetness and biscuit. The taste is crisp, clean, bitter - sweet, lemon peel, pepper, cracker, straw and not much else. The finish is mellow and dry. Light body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Not a huge amount to it, but not bad either. Went well with an accompanying whisky...

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Hazy amber body with a thick off-white head that holds. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of paper, rice cake and a hint of orange pith. Flavour of cracker, grass and peppery hops. Thin to medium body with a smooth texture. Light fizz. An impressive beer considering it’s gluten free and 3.5% ABV.
