Keg at Glasgow Real Ale Festival. Pours orange with nice, lasting head. Pleasantly choppy without being overpowering. Decent

Keg at BD AGM at the AECC, 21/06/14. Almost clear golden amber with a moderate light beige covering that retains well. Nose is light tropicana, toasted malt notes, bitter orange, straw, citric peel. Taste comprises caramel, biscuit notes, orange pith, light tropicana, hint of mango, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. Ok stuff, more a golden blonde for me, perhaps just scrapes APA, I’ve had better and more hop forwad offerings from Cromarty.

Keg at the brewdog agm 2014. Aroma is herbal, berry hedgerow hop with a touch of esters and nutty malts. Red orange coloured pour with a lasting thin off white head. Flavour is composed of herbal, berry hop with pronounced English yeast and mineral. Medium palate with highish carbonation. Firm berry bitterness rounds out this beer.

0,5L bottle, BB 08.02.15 (with white label). Pours clear amber with off-white head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is sour, hoppy grass and diacetyl. Taste is more diacetyl, grass, fruits, caramel, and malt. Finish has some pine bitterness. Overall: not sure what’s going on with this bottle. The base beer doesn’t seem bad, but I hate diacetyl. Hence the low rating.

Flaske på rbhd-samling hos Odd Gunnar: importert sjøveien av skibsrederen. Jeg synes denne har en ufrisk, tørr humlearoma. Smaken er litt besk og kjedelig. 4,6%. De andre var mer begeistret enn meg.

Clear dark golden. Pine and grape fruit in aroma. And taste. Also marmelade. Well balanced and good drinkability.

New comments (I am keeping the original numerical rating), cask halfpint at The Grill, Aberdeen. Deep golden to copper colour, white head. Aroma of citrussy hops. Flavour of lemon peel and bittering hops, the malts are rather dull. Original rating: Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting, thanks to Holmen2. ABV is 4.6%. Clear orange colour, moderate white had. Nice aroma of fruity American hops, piney hints too. Hoppy flavour, medium dry, nice enough, but not as much depth as desirable. Still decent enough to buy again.
