It's creamy, rich with flavors and aromas: coffee, dark chocolate, roastiness, bit of licorice in the background, as well as dark caramel and molasses.

What more could you ask to hide the alcohol of an imperial stout?

Enjoy!

Under the sea edition shared thanks to the brewpub with Marko and Hrabren. Near black with a ring tan head. Aroma of dark malt, coffee and roast. Flavour is heavy sweet and bitter. Light full bodied with soft carbonation. Solid old school stout.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, wood and alcohol. Pours almost black color with medium sized frothy light brown head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with medium sweet caramel, roasted malt and oats, follows by coffee, chocolate and dried fruit, mouthfeel is warm alcoholic, while finish is moderate bitter. Fully body, thick creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Very good one…

0.33 l bottle shared with Marko 7 months after best before. Oily black, small beige head. Roasty and burnt flavour, charred wood, dark chocolate, black malts. Cardboard lightly present. Smoke. Dust. Dark fruit underneath. Smooth, strong, quite rich. Roasty and burnt flavour, dark chocolate. A tart fruity touch. Almost completely dry. Oily, medium to full body, charred wood, ash and cardboard in the finish. A bit rough, not unpleasant, though.

Bottle, huge thanks Hrabren! Pitch black body, tan head, thick. Dark chocolate, dry, caramel, alcohol, plenty of roastiness. Nice, heavily chocolatey-roasty taste, lovely dark chocolate notes really, lean, smooth, creamy, tasty, well hidden alcohol here. Lean, well made, classy Imperial Stout, lacking some more oomph in the finish to lift it higher, but still excellent.
