Bottle from the brewery online shop. Pours hazy dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of toffee, earthy honey. Taste is sweet, boozy, toffee, earthy again. Clean finish. Not normally a fan of honey beers, but enjoyed this.

hazy dark amber beer, thin beige head. Rich caramel-y, honey smell. taste has a good, floral honey taste too, along with a decent maltiness, wheat, banana and a lovely booziness to it. I couldn't drink loads of it but this is a lovely, interesting thing.

On keg at Brewdog Lothian Rd, Edinburgh. Appearance - dirty brown and cloudy. Thin but attractive lacing. Nose - toffee, honey, a little earthy. Taste - toffee again. Again honey, a bit wild. Palate - medium bodied and creamy textured. Good longer. Overall - a bit challenging but good. Don't taste 10.2%.

18 March 2019. At BrewDog Cowgate, Edinburgh. Shared with the lovely Anke! Pours hazy brown with a lasting, thin, foamy, tan head. Aroma of dark, bit old honey, prune, raisin, pear syrup, clove, faint solvent, caramelised peanut, burnt caramel, candied orange. Taste is medium malty sweet, lots of honey & caramel wrapped into a brioche with fruity touches of ripe pear, candied orange & plum; only light herbal bitter in the middle, some balance thanks to green tea, clove, rendering it a bit phenolic & medicinal (on the verge of cough syrup). Dryish, herbal hoppy finish, quite medicinal now, lingering honey & a firm dash of warming liqueur alcohol. Medium to full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. A bit out of balance of surely enjoyable.

Bottled shared is Casa Del Parry. It pours cloudy deep reddish brown with a dissipating yellow - tan head. The aroma is strawberries & cream, strawberry milkshake, jelly and ice cream, trifle and light honey. The taste is strawberries & cream, strawberry jelly, jammy, honey, wood, chewy, tannin, honey cake, toothy, bit of warming booze, fruit cake, cherry and leather with a drying, warming finish.. Full body and fine carbonation. Fun.

Tap. Hazy brown color with tiny off-white ring. Aroma is raisins, caramel, vanilla, banana. Taste is honey, some rotten bananas, raisins, cream. Oily mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Not for me.
