Reviewed from notes.
Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a two finger khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: milk chocolate, coffee roasty notes, coffee sweet notes; then some light peanut sweetness further on down
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine roasty to sweet coffee quality; finishes roasty and coffee with some chocolate
Texture: light to medium bodied - maybe a touch closer to medium, some sessionability; some smoothness
Overall: for the most part pretty nicely done coffee forward milk stout worth coming back to and it was interesting to see how much the peanut butter from the base beer has been fairly non-existent now.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Brewed with Rwanda Bean coffee. Aroma is heavy on the mocha with grindy coffee, peanuts, coffee grounds, roast, cocoa, more nutty notes. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a mild bitterness. Medium body. Lovely beany grindy coffee and peanut aroma, very good.

At 2 Feet Brewing with the wife. Opaque, not quite black, wispy head. Strong hazelnut & toasted milk nose over gentle coffee. Sweet almond+hazelnut syrup+peanut butter. Less focused on the coffee. Slight bite at the end. Creamy, very thin, low carb, easy abv. Good+.

Can (1/10/24) pour from The Beer Store, Salem. Opaque black with light sparkle, decent head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt, coffee, lactose, nuts. Taste is bittersweet coffee, lactose, roasted malt. Smooth texture, lively carbonation, finish as taste. Strong aroma and flavor. Over carbonation detracts.

16 oz. can. Aroma is bold, coffee and mild chocolate. The coffee shows plenty in the flavor and still shows that signature Gunner Daughter’s peanut butter. Full body and creamy / velvet texture. Amazing for 5.5% alcohol!

Pours black into a tulip. Mocha head with good retention recedes to nothing. Hazelnut and coffee aromas. Soft with vanilla, coffee and chocolate front to back. Lasting dry hazelnut finish.
