Draft @ BBP Bailli.

Proudly poured from tap at Blb. Originally brewed to be consumed by their brewers, and thus not officially released, both we and pardaf ( both antwerp) managed to get a keg for the bar's post covid 7 month closure. Pours a cloudy blonde. Creamy stable medium sized head. Scent is very soft, gentle, creamy, slightly more hoppy than the beamed urquell ( citrussy hops). Taste is typical Czech style. Very creamy, malty, hints of bitter, hints of ( desired) diacetyl. A very, very well made Czech lager. The wood doesn't really show. Impressive stuff, like most by them lately.

Draught Huge, ultra dense & fine light yellow head over fully hazy orange-yellow beer; rings of lace. Yeasty nose with fresh leaves, lindenblossom. Huge head hampers nasal perception. Bitterish, yeasty, as licking from the working yeast on the lagertank. Very faint traces of malt sugars; hopresins. Yeast-filled. Good carbonation but not spritzy. Bit dry-out effect from the resins, verging towards astringency. Ah well. THIS is finally a full success from BBP.
