Bottle picked up from REWE, Mainburg and consumed at home Attenkirchen, Friday 3rd April 2020 on day 16 of lockdown. Sat outside but whilst it's dry it is also cold and we've seen our first clouds of the week, we're listening to Tom Ravenscroft on 6Music. Think that we're cooking Cannelloni tonight. Pours chestnut brown, clear as a bell, looks very good, a little nutty, some caramel, smooth. Very soft mouthfeel, a nice toffee chewiness, not so dissimilar to a UK mild in some respects but it is a little tangier.

Bottle. Dark brown, fluffy amber head. Nice juicy malt, orangepeel, dark chocolate. Medium full mellow body. Bread, chocolate, orange, light grassy, broad sponecake with orange marmelade, very nice balance, pleasure to drink.

Bottle. Clear darkest ruby color with beige head. Aroma is nutty, chocolate, very kernig. Taste is nutty, dark malts, chocolate, orange sweets, a touch raisins. Soft oily mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Just the right amount of sweetness, perfect balance. Really, really good one! I did not know until now that Kuchlbauer can Lager.

Draft @ Fränkisches Bierfest, Nürnberg. Pours a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. fruity malty caramel flavor with weak bready hints. Has a fruity malty caramel finish.
