New India session ale by BBP, dedicated to the football competition holding its grip on our country right now. Can from a Delhaize supermarket. Snow white, thick and frothy but gradually dissolving, moussy head on a misty straw blonde beer with ochre-ish tinge. Aroma of lime blossom, orange zest, lemon peel, green banana, freshly cut apple, white bread, some very light withering cut flower dankness, starfruit, gypsum. Crisp, restrainedly sweetish onset with subtle sourish edge, fruity but focused and not overly tropical, yet still bright with impressions of starfruit, apple and unripe banana, medium carbonated; supple, relatively 'full', smooth body. White-bready maltiness under citrusy hoppiness, providing refreshing orange zest and lime juice aspects retronasally as well as a leafy, grapefruity, quite long and drying bitterness. Very 'classic' in this style, but very effective as well, certainly on a hot summer evening. What you see is what you get, an accessible, solid ISA, which was quite refreshing in these days of tropical haze.

06/VI/21 - 33cl can from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: 31/III/22 07:28 (2021-463)

Clear pale yellow beer, small creamy white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: quite some citrus, wort, grains, tangerines, orange peel, slightly soapy, floral touch, some elderflower. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Tate: malty start, pretty bitter, little grassy, citrus, bit fruity, metallic touch. Aftertaste: bitter, a little watery, dry, a bit piny, hoppy, grassy, soapy touch, floral, meh. Not very convincing. I’m used to better IPA’s from BBP...

33cl can, BB 31/03/2022.

Pours hazed blonde, small white head. Scent is grainy, fresh, mild citrus. Hint of wheat. Taste is fairly full for the ABV. Malty, medium bitterness. Some fruits (citrussy, yellow fruits ) . not bad at all.

33cl can from the brewery. F: thin, snow-white, quick gone. C: yellowish, light hazy. A: citrus, orange, floral, bit spicy, bready touch, nice fruity. T: light body, watery orange, tangerine, nice fresh fruity, floral, decent bitterness I would not guess only 10 IBU, refreshing beer, fully enjoyed.
