Big Mama, 11,5 %, Bieredition 013 der Heubacher brauKunst, Fläschchen unbekannter Herkunft (MHD: 31.12.2022). - Tiefdunkles Kastanienbraun, trüb, unappetitliche Hefeklumpen im Glas - ich habe das Bier noch durch ein Teesieb laufen lassen, um den Schmodder loszuwerden. - In der Nase sattes Röstmalz, Mokka, Hustensaft (das Etikett spricht beschönigend von Süßholz), säuerliches Roggenbrot, Sahne-Karamel-Bonbon, Bitterorange und weinige Schwere, nur leicht aufgelockert durch fein zitrusfruchtige Hopfung. - Antrunk fett dunkel- und röstmalzig mit heftiger Röstmalzbittere, starkem Mokka, Bitterschokolade mit Vanillezucker, Lakritz und Asche, abgerundet durch milde Bitterorange. Mild rezent, mastig. Im Abgang feine zitrusfruchtige Hopfung, Anklänge an Rum. - Mächtig fetter, wuchtig röstmalziger Barley Wine, der von ferne an einen Absud aus der traditionellen koreanischen Medizin erinnert; überspannt aber doch trinkbar. Man muß sich halt in kleinen Schlückchen herantasten ... (14.7.2022.)

Bottled, from Biershop Baden-Württemberg. Clear dark brown, small head. Ashy nose with licorice and treacle. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Figs, licorice and molasses. Peppery warming finish with resinous bitterness. Quite raw.

Minimal sßäuerlicher, alkoholisch malziger Beginn. Hohe Sßffigkeit, dunkles Malz, etwas Schokolade. Langer malziger, etwas zu süßer Abgang bei gleichzeitig zu trockenem Hintergrund. 8/9/10/9//9

Aroma is bonbon honey prickly pear. Taste is very sweet bonbon with melasses and sour stuff. Drinkable at least. Good.

BKL2019. Murky red brown, low offwhite head. Dry wood, balsamic nose, light seaweed. Medium body, dry wood, caramel, roast, a bit meaty fruit, lightly oxidized, sweet aftertaste.

Tap. Hazy brown color with beige. Aroma is nutty, halitosis, chocolate. Taste is the same, a bit weird. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Not for me.

Sampled @ Braukunst Live 2019. A clear dark brown beer. Aroma of riped fruits, red fruits, caramel, raisins. Taste of strong riped red fruits, Melasse, caramel, raisins, slightly boozy.

On tap: 3. STUTTGARTER CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL. Pours a dark copper color. Aroma is nice, caramel, boozy, little red wine barrel. Taste is a little thin, flavors are good, well balanced.
