Bottle that my Dad shared with me - cheers! Deep amber with a moderate cream head and a slight fizz. Lots of caramel up front, decent bitterness to balance. Nice traditional bitter, if a little simple.

Bottle at home in London. Pours clear, orange-gold with a soft, foamy head. Light toasty brown bread in the nose, some dry berries, leaves. Light sweet flavor, mild leafy bitterness, simple bread and berries, faint dirt. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Light sweet finish, pretty crisp, dry leaves, hints of pine, dry berries. A very simple beer overall, but it’s pleasant and easy to drink.
