Same name same label, but now at 5.1%. Initial aroma of rotting fruit and electrical fire. It does get better with time in the glass, and something like candied, overripe citrus comes into play, but I would hesitate calling it pleasant. Taste is bittersweet, bitter at the back, both a touch citric and a touch roasted. Medium-bodied, good chewiness, moderate carbonation. Interesting experiment. Not coming together though.

Flasche beim Brauer gekauft. Trübes Bernstein, viel Schaum, kleinporig. Geschmack: erdig, Pfirsich, Mango, Maracuja. Aroma: unauffälliger Antrunk, moderate bis mittelstarke Süße, etwas Südfrüchte, moderate Bitterkeit.

16-06-18 // tap, taster at Festival der Bierkulturen Köln 2018. Almost clear golden. Quite high carbo. Low hop profile. Quite boring.

Straw blond and hazy. Aroma and flavour are a little wheaty. Light tropical fruit. Low bitterness.

Draft at Festival der Bierkulturen, Cologne. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of light fruity hops, floral notes and light green weedy hops. Flavour is light sweet and moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled from tap at FdB Köln 2017. Hazy, straw yellow with a white head. Sweetish, slightly fruity aroma of grains, lemon peel and straw. Sweetish, slightly bitter, grainy and slightly fruity-grassy taste of grains, straw and some lemon peel, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Just okay, not really an IPA though.

Sampled @ BKL 2017. Trübes hell goldgelbes Bier mit geringen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch dezent grasig hopfig, Heu. Geschmack mild hopfig, zitronig, Heu, unspektakulär.
