In our series of sweet pastry stout monsters we have a hungry chomper named Vons. He really loves peanut butter brownies and his sweetness will give you caveties. Yummy!

Can shared at Csaka. Pours jet black with a brownish head. Nose is earth notes, coffee, salty peanuts and dark chocolate. Taste is dark chocolate, nougat, peanuts, faint coffee and some booze. Closes with a chocolatey, moderately dry finish, has a big, creamy body and soft carbonation. Good one, I especially liked that it was sweet and not cloying and had a big body yet it was kinda dry at the same time.

Can from BiervanEijk, Frederiksoord. I'm a slut when it comes to peanut butter. Aroma is coffee, peanuts, roasted malt, vanilla, chocolate, caramel, sugar. Flavour is sweet with a fairly bitter finish. Full body. Peanut is there but not overpowering, pretty strong on the coffee. Full, bittersweet, tasty stuff.

440 ml can. Pours a reddish black with full, almost nitro tan head. Aromas of peanuts, caramel, and slick roasted malts. Flavors follow same and very well balanced. Sweet with bitter finish. Nicely done on the peanuts, neither an overkill on the nuts or sweetness. but still providing a somethin unique and interesting

440ml can from Premier Hop, Pudsey, W.Yorkshire. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a healthy beige head on top. Roasty, malty, coffee, caramel, peanut aroma and taste. Decent rich, bitter/sweet, very nicely balanced imperial stout. Really enjoying De Moersleutel since I tried them first time in Holland early last year.

Can shared thanks to Thijs. Black with tan head. Deep roasted malts, earthy, roasted peanuts, toffee, earthy, pecan brownies. Quite sweet but also quite bitter. Full slick body. Quite OK, nice balancing bitterness and not too artifical.
