Can. Deep dark brown color. Coffee, milk chocolate and caramel in the aroma. A bit watery, but pleasant flavor with caramel, milk chocolate and raisin. Sweet.

Bottle at The Winding Stair in Dublin, Ireland. The pour is black brown with a well formed 2 inch dark khaki head. The aroma is strong roast, along with dark chocolate and a bit of pine in the malt. The taste is clean dark chocolate malt, the roast and finishing dry with pine. The palate is medium bodied, active carbonation and the clean roast finish. Tasty Porter, went great with the lovely food at The Winding Stair.

Can. Color: Black, long lasting beige head, nice lacing. Aroma: Roasted malt, notes of mocha. Taste: Roasted malt, some mocha and chocolate notes, burned toast. Medium body, below average carbonation. smooth mouthfeel. Don't get much of the coconut. Ok, but a bit disappointing.

18 March 2019. At BrewDog Cowgate, Edinburgh. Shared with the lovely Anke! Pours hazy black with a lasting, foamy, unstable, tan head. Aroma of toast, coffee roast, roasted peanut, caramel, raisin, blackcurrant, fondant, some rubber. Taste is light malty sweet, nutty & bready with dried & dark fruity accents (fig, blackcurrant); light to medium roasted bitter then, roasted nuts, coffee, toast & faint fondant, bit fruity sourish & plastic-like too, coconut remains very restrained if not unnoticeable. Dryish, toasty, tad peppery hoppy finish, more fondant & 'bland' coffee roast. Light to medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Underwhelming to say the least, but it's drinkable.

Thick creamy light brown head stayed on a black still body. Malt, dark chocolate, bitter berry & roasted aroma. Medium bodied, sharp to the fore with creamy back. Roasted, nut, dark chocolate, espresso & demerara tastes with a tangy hoppy citrus finish.
