A perfect and roasty porter/stout, for me it sounds more a stout, generous roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, fruity, subtle hop, 25.03.20, at Epalinges

Can from BiervanEijk, Frederiksoord. Aroma is roasted malt with chocolate, some coffee and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, body is medium. That rabbit on the can art must have crushed all the coconuts under the tires of his tractor, because I'm not picking up any.

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 27 Aug 2022) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasty nose with notes of coffee, dark chocolate and black bread. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, dark chocolate, black bread, liquorice, a touch of toasted coconut and a balanced roasty bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Smooth, tasty and well made porter. Very nice.

Black with thin head. Aroma and flavour have quite prominent sweet overtones of mocha. Luckily I don't get any coconut although there's maybe a rum-esque tropical element to it. Flavoursome for the strength but a bit too sweet.

440ml can at Paus Craft Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a lasting frothy light tan head, The aroma is roasty malt, big toffee caramel, light smoky ashtray. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, slightly oily, light liqourice, chocolate, coffee, sweet caramel fudge palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
