Bottle at the Ottakringer brewery shop, there's a drinking in area where you can try any of the beers available. Had this Saturday 23rd May 2026 after a short walk from the tram stop Ottakringer, however there's a tram stop much closer, we just decided to walk. Pours clear amber with a white head. Nice mouthfeel, soft a touch heavy, plenty of hops but a huge sweet maltiness. It's just a bit unbalanced, the big, sweet maltiness is a bit too dominant, however I'm not being to hard on it, it's still reasonably decent. Score: 7.0

Taster from bottle at ABC Awards, Ried im Innkreis. Amber hazy color, small white head. Smells pines, Marzipan, earthy, spices. Nice smell. Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes pines, Marzipan, spices, tobacco. Finishes light to medium sweet with notes of tobacco, spices and pines. Good one, rather malty, more like a barley wine

Bottle. Pours deep copper with white head. Nose is apricot jam, booze, biscuity malts, piney hops. Taste is sweet first, boozy and malty, then some piney and fruity hops appear and these last quite long in the finish, with some additional sweet booze again. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Actually nice and dank, quite pleasant.

At the Super Bier Fest. Hazy brownish-golden body. Resin and wormwood in the aroma. Dry taste, caramelly, resin, ending with a rough herbal bitterness. Old school, but also gone and hard to drink. Urgh...

Ein starkes Bier, das aber gar nicht so schwer rüberkommt. Es hat einen ordentlichen Hopfenkern und gutem Abgang nach Hollunder, Pfeffer und Zitronengras. EIn Bier, dass zwar von der großen Brauerei kommt, aber doch wirklich kreativ und verspielt wirkt

Bottle during ABC. Copper color with medium white head. Strong fruity aroma complemented with biscuit malt, piney hops. TAste, solid malty bas, with some caramel, fruit cocktail, piney hops, alcohol. Medium long hoppy bitter finish with moderate warming alcohol.

Tap. Hazy ruby color with creamy eggshell head. Aroma is yeasty, petrol, cheesy hops. Taste is petrol, booze, sweet juicy fruits, plasticy in the finish. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Not great.
