Früher wurde dieses Bier im März eingebraut und bis zum Herbst ausgeschenkt. Daher auch der Name der traditionsreichen Biersorte. Heute können Sie das Flötzinger Märzen das ganze Jahr über genießen. Ob als Halbe oder als Maß, der vollmundige Malzgeschmack, der volle Körper, und der sahnige Schaum machen "Lust auf Durst". Bekannt durch das Rosenheimer Herbstfest mit dem größten Bierzelt Bayerns in Holzbauweise.

Bottle. Pours clear pale golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast and fart, with notes of malt. Sweetish flavour of malt and yeast, with bitter touches of hops. Estery and malty afteraste. Drinkable but nothing special.

Bottle, 5.5%. Fruity aroma, smells a little oxidised. Clear dark golden colour. OK frothy chalk white head. The flavour is bready and papery. Almost skunky. Low to medium bitterness.

„Rosenheimer Märzen“, Flasche (50 cl) vom Edeka am Prager Platz, Berlin-Wilmersdorf. - Satt goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase etwas harte Noten von grünen Äpfeln, süßes Malz, zarte Anklänge an Waschpulver. - Antrunk breit hellmalzig mit ein wenig Heu und milder Orangenschale. Recht schwere Malzsüße und etwas ruppige, leicht holzige Herbe geben dem Bier einen eher derben Charakter. Durchschnittlich rezent, vollmundig aber etwas hart im Mund. Mild hopfenbitterer, schwach harziger Abgang. - Recht simpel gestricktes Märzen, das durch den Einsatz von Hopfenextrakt und rabiate Filtration an Trinkbarkeit einbüßt.

0,5 l bottle. Clear dark golden in the glass with a big one finger head. Malty grassy nose. Taste is low toasted malty, some fuityness in the background, grassy, caramell, little bit sweetness. Smooth palate. Increasing mid bitterness to the end. Low carbonation. Some character. Nice for its kind.

Sample from 50 cl bottle. Clear, golden colour with a thin, white head. Sweet aroma with grasses, perfumed notes and pale malts. Taste is light bitter. Medium bodied. Finishes dry and bitter with floral notes. Okay.
