Tap at Keyaki Autumn 2019. Chewy, fudge-like chocolate and caramel in the nose. Same flavor, with some jammy orange. Fruity, chocolaty, rich, like I dig them.

0.33 l bottle from 'Biervana', best before November 2021. Clear, dark amber with a thin, frothy, stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, raisins, some nuts and a touch of chocolate. Quite sweet, malty, slightly bitter taste of caramel, nuts, raisins and some chocolate, followed by a short, slightly bitter, minimally roasty finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Solid Doppelbock, I like it better with a fruitier character though.

Bottle (Great Garching Gift!): Almost clear, ruby-amber to copper coloured, lazy carbonation, small and stable off-white head; sweetish caramelly-toasty nose with traces of dried fruits and a faint illusion of alcohol; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied; lingering and slightly drier sweet caramelly and herbal bitter finish. A neither-nor Bier...

0,3 l bottle from Beer Supreme, Oldenburg. A nice copper in the glass with an one finger pale beige head. Sweet malty smell, not very intensive. Taste starts with a short sweet malty section, increasing grain and little bit fruity, little bit alcoholic sharpness. Nice and easy drinking stuff.

Tap. Clear deep amber-copper color with eggshell head. Aroma is grains, raisins, a bit fruit kompott. Taste is sweetish, raisins, sirupy, a bit boozy, but overall very drinkable. Oily mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Not bad!
