ABV: 10.0%. Clear dark black brown colour with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige to light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, roasted, chocolate, coffee, rich. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, coffee - chocolate, dark fruit, rich, dark malt. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20210731]

330ml can from Vinmonopolet Nettbutikk. Shared with Finn. Low tan-coloured head, pitch black body, scattered lacing. Appealing dark malty aromas, chocolate and liquorice, nicely roasted. Well balanced taste profile of dark chocolate, bread, and liquorice. Long roasted bitter tail. Smooth in the mouth and full bodied. Nice slow sipper, warming down the swallow. Can at home from Trembling Madness, 28th May 2021. Pours rich and black, tan head. Aroma is intense, roasted malts, leather, chocolate and liquorice. Taste is smooth roasted malts, caramel, liquorice, dark chocolate and bitter cocoa. Beautiful straight up impy, and never too sweet. Lovely

Intense dark roasted malty with opulent chocolate malts, layers of rich dark malt, caramel, cocoa, ashy earthy roasted malts, coffee roast, full bodied, bitter chocolate dark roasted warming malty finish. Can at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours black-brown with a dense, lasting frothy brown head. Medium sweet, gorgeous dark malts, ash, layered chocolate, roast. Full bodied, oily, with fine carbonation and velvety texture. Lightly warming finish, more rounded dark malts, bittersweet dark chocolate. Awesome layered dark malt character.

Black beer, thin head. Toasty malt aroma with a little liquorice. Flavour follows suit. Toasty malt, a little toffee, aniseed, some dark chocolate. Pretty tasty.
