44cl Blik van Etre Gourmet. Zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Gebrande mout, melasse, chocolade, koffie, drop, rozijntjes, mja het is goed maar ik had toch meer verwacht. Resultaten uit het verleden… medium body.

Canned (Alko Web). Black colour, small head. Aroma is ripe fruits, some honey, mild elderflower with some wood and liquorice with some alcohol. Flavour is toffee, liquorice, quite burning alcohol with some mild spiciness. Nice.

0,33l can from Alko. Very dark brown, almost black beer with small beige head on the edges of the glass. Aroma has roasted malts, dark chocolate, coffee and some alcohol. Flavor has sweet caramel, roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, cocoa and some vanilla. Some bitterness too with long warming aftertaste. Good one.

Can. Had this after having three single barrel rain shadows with my brother and girlfriend. Pours very dark, almost no head. Aroma is intense dark malts, with loads of coffee, dark chocolate, roasted barley. Full-bodied and thick oily mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, lots of burnt sugar, caramel and dark malts. Very dark chocolate, dark roast coffee, some vanilla. A bit heavy on those specialty malts imho, but still good.

Thin brown head left a spotty cover on a still black body. Aniseed, malt & boozed up aroma. Full bodied, soft, smooth & cloying. Malt, chocolate, liquorice, smokey & brandy tastes with tangy finish. Big hitter.

Can picked up from Etre Gourmet webshop, Grez-Doiceau, Belgium consumed in Frank staying at Weihenstephan brewery Thursday 23rd December 2021, after a fab'meal at the Bräustüberl Weihenstephan. Pours black with a light beige head. Bitter chocolate and coffee on the nose. In the mouth this is bitter, roasty with the aforementioned coffee and chocolate returning again, dark cocoa. This is a lovely beer.
